Love is……

I hope you all have a very blessed Valentine”s Day!

There is only one happiness in life,
to love and be loved.

– George Sand –

To the world you may be one person,
but to one person you may be the world.

Love is a moment that lasts forever…

One look
One smile
One touch
One embrace
One kiss
One love
Two people
Two minds
Two souls
Two destinies
One road
One journey
One ending

    I wrote a poem once about a lost love. It goes like this:

    I started laughing out loud,
    When I thought of the time
    You left that message in my wallet.

    My twenty dollars was gone,
    But a note occupied its space;
    It said simply, “Sorry, baby.”

    Later that day, you came waltzing in;
    (You loved to Waltz), holding a package.
    You smiled when you handed it to me.

    I knew from the look on your face
    That you were holding in a giggle;
    That one I loved so much.

    “Here,” you said. “This is for you.
    You always spend your money on me;
    I’m spending some of it on you.”

    I opened the package and looked inside.
    In it was one of those “Do everything” knives;
    “Sale at K-Mart,” you chuckled.

    That was twenty years ago.
    The note still occupies my wallet,
    But your space lies empty.

    I still have the knife,
    And I still have your memories;
    And that, sadly, is enough for me.
